I know - prob common question. I have been searching for over a 1/2 hour now.

This problem has sparked an interest in setting up Willie's system with a few extra tweaks. But in the mean time - I was going to set up a manual on switch.

In testing, I grounded the green/white wire before the relay for both the primary and secondary fan and neither kicked in. I have 2 IROCs so I stole a relay out of the other one and I did not get any result either.

In looking at the FAQ section I saw the wiring diagram for the fans and noticed there is a fuse involved.

What is the name of this fuse in the fuse box? If not - where is it located. I have checked all my fuses - I think...

The fuse is labeled FP-FAN. It has a brown wire coming to it from the alternator after splicing off and going to the coolant fan relays.

It could be that your fan motors are burned out too. Put a voltmeter on the thick orange wire and see if you are getting 12V to the fans, and while you are at it, then make sure you are getting the voltage at the fan motors also, as this is the intended result of all that circuitry..

There is also a fusible-link for the cooling fans. If the link is blown, the fans will not work.

Where is the fuseable link located? I recently did a major upgrade and before the upgrade my fans worked. After my upgrade the fans no longer worked.

The Fan switch (black connector) is connected to the passenger head between 6&8.

My FP-Fan switch is good. Fuel pump primes when the key is turned to ignition.

Only things I can think of are the link and the relay? Where are those located?

The fusible link for that is located down at the starter solenoid.

Could be a problem of mine as well, but I'd love if someone could scan some factory GM service manuals for specific schematics and location diagrams.. I find the original manuals, sometimes light on info, still the best of Haynes and Chilton low cost options

The fusible link is one of the ones that come off of the starter solenoid. One relay is located on the passenger side radiator support, the other relay is on the passenger side fender wall.
