every iron block motor has some rust in the coolent passages.
after the motor is back together, you can get a reverse flush kit... basicly it uses a garden hose to flush everything out.
but then you need to add either some GM sealing tablets or bars stop leak (ive always used teh stop leak) back to the system.
guess what that is?
if you guessed tiny flakes of stuff, you're right.... believe it or not, that lil bit of rust in the system stops leaks.. lol. |
