weight of 30lb cylinder of r12

anyone know what the proper weight (NEW) of a 30lb cylinder of R12 in a disposable one use cylinder is?

I've read that the bottle itself weighs anywhere from 5-12 pounds empty.

I've got a 30lb cylinder weighing in at 24lbs and am curious how "full" it really is. it's only been used to charge two car systems.
