new coolant leak - dripping off starter

Hey all - haven't been around here is some time now - just recently pulled my 89 IROC out of long-term storage and immediately noticed a coolant leak - it's not small, a fair bit of coolant was on the floor after letting it idle for 5 minutes or so.

I checked around on the forums b4 posting - found one other mention of coolant leaking from by the starter - I presume it's a freeze plug - can anyone confirm this? On close inspection, it's dripping from between the starter and the block, kind of dripping from the lip on the oil pan. I see no leak above this area, nothing from the head or intake manifold.

Someone, please confirm what might be going on here if you've had previous experience. How hard are freeze plugs to change?

Just perfect timing too - was thinking of selling the old girl too......perfect! Maybe her way of saying "No, keep me!"
