Flow Kooler Water Pump Conversion Discs, anyone using these?

I was looking through some old car mags and found this item that you rivet to the back of the water pump impeller, just wondering if anyone is using one and how they liking it.

Here is a link to what I'am talking about through summit http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

The later model GM pumps like on our cars have a new design impeller and the "disc" is built on to it already.

So I can just go to any GM dealer and order up a new pump and it will have the new design impeller?
