hard wiring the cooling fans. how do you do it?

i have a 1987 trans am convertible. with the tpi 305. i have tried everything to get my fans to kick on normally. i put a new temperature switch in it. changed 3 relays, and checked the voltage. still cant find out whats wrong. i've just given up so i want to hardwire the fans so that when the ignition is on the fans come on. how should i do it?

Welcome to TGO. If you haven't checked the stickies at the top of the page, you might start there. Electric fans are a common problem, so a search would no doubt provide a wealth of info.
