Ok so heres the deal I have a perma-cool 16 inch fan on my radiator right now...She is still overheating with the ac on...my question is will the listed fan shroud below fit the listed direct fit stock radiator?
not unless your proficient at welding aluminum or have access to a shop with sheet metal sheers, sheet metal brake(bender), and riveting tools or tig welder.
But then of course you could just fab yourself up one like i did.
I wish i could fab one for you, but i don't really have access to that stuff anymore. try finding a shop such as a welding shop and see if they can help you out, you need to measure your rad. core height,width and how deep you want the shroud to be(i suggest 1.5 to 2").

I ended up just pulling the permacool fan altogether and throwing a single electric fan that came off of a ford tauros with a shroud already attached. Took some modifying of the two radiator brackets but i got the thing to fit and man this thing is awesome! About an hour after running it I fried the relay for the fan and some of the wiring. It was rewired and repaired with a new higher amp relay and soo far so good this thing is running super cool. So far so good. Overheating issue diagnosed and resolved. For now.

Nice job! I love seeing people come up with good solutions to simple issues. I'm also having a overheating issue. Do you happen to know what year Taurus it was? SHO by chance?
probably was from a 1991-95 3,8L taurus,'89 up SHO is
the same or nearly the same,this is a pretty good fan-
two speed motor,so must be connected properly or the
motor will burn out
there are several companies that make controllers for the two speed fans. look up lightning trucks or mustangs for there controllers. or you can run two of the single relays set ups to control both speeds.
