2x Fans= Inop.
Neither of my fans work. i have a 1992 Z28 with a 350, and a 160* T stat. on the highway i run about 180* ish and in city it stays solid at 200* but the fans dont turn on, even when it gets to 220 (almost in the red), no fans. I know for sure the secondary fan switch is Fuct, and a bare wire that was once a connector is dangling there. But when i pluch in the obd1 code reader the fan turns on
im stumped. any thoughts? Relay perhaps? Fuses?
thanks

first thing is 220 is a perfectly normal operating temp. second is i would suggest picking up a new 180degree secondary fan switch off summit and plug your loose wire into it haha second i would check into that primary fan not working.. ie the relay the temp sensor wiring does the fan work if you put power right on it? that kinda thing

sorry to get inside the topic.....I have a 1987 dual fan also... I though the switch was just one for both fans.
