Has anyone ever used G sport metal hoses? I was wondering because I think they would look better than the factory hoses. If people used them, did they like them and which ones did you get for a tpi? I might give these a try because unless you go to all AN fittings, you can't get real braided hoses, so I guess this could be my next best options.
I know what you are talking about, I used to see it at a local speed shop but I think that it is discontinued, cause I can't find it anymore. The closest I found was this.
I don't know why but that doesn't look very durable. It looks like cheap aluminum, and it looks like it might restrict the coolant cause of all the bumps in the hose. I don't know though, it looks kind of bad but I may be wrong, I'll keep my eye on this one to see if anyone has tried these.
^^^ That isn't braided though. I agree that it looks cheap, and I think it will look bad under the hood as well. I wasn't aware that you could get non AN fitted braided hoses for this application.

There's the g-flex ones.
I don't see why you couldn't use them on the lower hose if they make a diameter big enough. I should get these for my car. It would look so cool if they came in a polished silver or chrome look. Red is ok if everything else is red, otherwise, it looks *****'d.
What about the lower hose to? I wanted to know if it would work on that bigger hose.
I have it on the lower hose, too. You can't see it in the pic.

i used this stuff for my upper radiator hose, i used black. After i installed it, i really didnt like how it looked and took it back off. Im still looking for an alternative.
Because it is metal, I suppose that it could shed heat faster through the ripples and fins. I want to know more about this before I buy it cause it looks to be quite expensive.
