i have a 91 camaro that i removed the AC in and bought an AC delete box, my question is are there different boxes? The one i bought i cannot reuse the blower motor and the connection is different. the blower motor that came with it is not as long. the box though fits in perfectly.
Ideas?
The A/C motors are larger than the A/C delete motors. You can purchase both the A/C delete motor and new squirl cage at Advanced auto or Auto Zone. The motor is like $25.00 and I cant remember how much the squirl cage was but it was cheep as well. The A/C delete boxes are the same.

You can use any blower you'd like, the connectors are irrelevant, just rewire everything like I did. I used an A/C delete box from a G20 van, and a blower motor from an entirely different vehicle (I cut the connector harness along with it), but with the right size cage. I reused the stock AC resistor from my car to retain all four speeds, hooked it up to the main harness, then spliced it into the new blower motor. I get all four speeds, no problem....
I have the American graffitti AC Delete box, cost me $170 new, and will sell (never installed) for $85 shipped. Full fiberglass and is smaller than the 1LE Delete box in depth and height, Depth mostly, as the 1LE box is bulky where the air goes into the car where as the AG box is smaller for more room in the engine bay.
