fan switch, TFS heads, bigger size hole

Hi,

I have a set of TFS heads on my camaro and they have bigger holes in them for the fan switch. Right now I have a pipe adapter in there to adapt the size to fit my switch. But this moves the fan switch out to far. I can't get the plug on because the dipstick is in the way. Does anyone know of a fan switch that will fit in the bigger hole? Can be stock or aftermarket?

Thanks,

John

Here is what mine looks like now. A stock replacement switch in what I think is a home depot NPT adapter. Is this what the hypertech low temp switch looks like when installed with the adapter? Does it stick out this far? Seems like it should screw all the way in.

Re: fan switch, TFS heads, bigger size hole

I called Trick Flow today. They claimed the hole size is 3/8"-16, which isn't right, otherwise my old sensors would fit. I'm pretty sure they are 1/2" But they also said the threads are normal straight cut and not NPT tapered threads. Does that sound right? I think that would explain why my NPT adapter doesn't screw in all the way. Anybody know?
