Where does the orfice tube go?

I'm putting my AC back together and I don't recall seeing the orfice tube, where does it get installed? Anyone have pics?

Re: Where does the orfice tube go?

I just put mine back together... the line closest to the ground(IIRC, the high pressure line) the hose goes into the dryer cyclinder. If that is the orfice your talking about, there are 3 of them in the whole a/c unit.

Re: Where does the orfice tube go?

Hey thanks Monster,

I found it in the bottom tube of the evaporator. Weird I didn't notice it before when I flushed it. Its working well so far, just waiting for a hot day to really try it out.
