a/c blowing hot clucth not engaging help me its hot 3 digits hot

the previous owner had it switched over to r 134a it blew cool for a while then it would go warm then hot so i thought recharge the system so i bought a 20 dollar recharge kit from target with a gauge the gauge read no pressure at all so I started to fill it and there hasnt been any change at all and i dont know what else to do my dad said check the fan and it does not come on when the a/c is on plz help

First fix the fan problem.

The fan is activated VIA the HVAC switch.

Did the refrigerant can(s) empty?

If they did you have a major leak due to the fact you have no pressure immediately after fill up.

Therefore it will be easy to find unless it’s from the evaporator.

thx i dnt think it's a leak it wouldn't take whole can it was a 19 oz the clucth kicks on now so i guess the fans next

finally got the fan to come on the ground in the fan relay was bad now i hav icy air sweet!
