First day I bought it, drove it for less than an hour, as i'm about a mile away from my house, my hood started smoking, - being the dumbass that i am, i tried to hurry home.
I managed to get home, but halfway up my driveway the goosneck on my radiator blew apart.
one radiator and thermostat later, i am still having cooling problems, fan works, stays under 180, but if i'm in town for too long without air passing through my hood, it goes above and starts to overheat.
I don't know what's wrong, any ideas?
We bought a new water pump and heater core justincase.

It could be a bad headgasket.Check the oil if theirs antifreeze in it,its probably that,,Since the engine got really hot,it most likely blew the headgasket

sorry about my lack of knowledge, but it seems when the engine coolant is stored, it starts to boil, and then the thing blows off,
was my first problem.
