Cooling Fan Rotation

Anybody know what way works best for cooling? Fan blowing towards radiator or blowing towards engine?

Re: Cooling Fan Rotation

fans pull air through radiator and blow toward engine,
otherwise they would be working against ram airflow
when car is in motion. Also puller fans pulling air through
a radiator are much more effective than pusher fans
blowing air through the radiator, the reason is the air
from the discharge side of a propeller fan is rotating like
a vortex and hits the radiator fins at an angle, reducing
airflow.

Re: Cooling Fan Rotation

Thats what I thought. I have all my F-bods set up that way. My little sister has hers the other way. She says she never had an over heating problem. Thanks for proving me right .

Cheers!
