temp gauge stopped working

uh. it just stopped working as i went to test out some new shocks. it didnt move at all. how can i fix this

If it just stopped working, the problem is most likely a bad connection. Pull the gauge panel off and test the connections.
Whatever the problem is, it will usually be cheap to fix

There is a sending unit between the 1 and 3 exhaust port, on the drivers side head. The green wire connects to it.

Does it do anything while trying to start the engine (as said in other post reply) or grounding the wire (key on) ?
