overheats when shut off...and gets hotter at 70mph

the fan isnt comin on with the key in the on position but comes on while drivin at temp. brand new relay. ne ideas?

if the car gets up to the temp when the fan comes on (checked adn it comes on goes off like it should) and run into the store for about 5minutes the car gets up to 250.

no tstat..had a 195 in there and it was overheatin alot..got a tstat from the dealer now but accordin to haynes its the same temp ratin so i think i'll have the same problems.

i drove about 10-15miles at around 70mph and the temp started to slowly creep up.

water pump is a yr old

BE KOOOOOOOOOOOOL

The fan is controlled by a thermostatic switch.

It’s designed to turn on at 220°.

The reason the temp increases post shutdown is heat in the engine is still coming out however the cooling system is not functioning.

Re: too hot when over 70MPH - You might not be getting enuff airflow when moving.

Make sure your air dam is not damaged.

Happy Racing!

If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going Backwards

Fog lights are not driving lights. They look dorky. Turn em off slow pokes.

How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!
