car wont start after driving for a while

I need help! My '86 iroc-z wont turn on after i have been driving it for a while. It starts perfectly when its cold but once it gets hot and i turn it off, it wont start again untill whatever is getting hot cools down again. Theres been times when my car has been left for hours untill it starts up again and its really bothering me. When i turn the igniton all the dash lights and radio turn on but my engine just wont start up. My battery is fully charged and i already switched the old starter with a brand new one. If anybody has any idea what might be the problem i will greatly appreciat it if you can tell me. Thanks!

DITTO to above, I just had the same issue and replaced the starter. I guess 7 years it was a little worn out.
