Re: What size bolts are used for the air dam?

I just got my new GM one in the mail yesterday, i can probably tell you better when I get home. As far as I remeber it looked like it had maybe a 12mm bolt with the U clip style nut on the backside which is similar to many other on the car. You should be to easily grab something from the hardware store since it will just bolt through and use the clip/nut to hold in place. I can take a pic tonight of the GM hardware I got with mine if you still need.

Kinda like this but with a larger nut.

Re: What size bolts are used for the air dam?

OK I got mine on this morning. The center section is held on by 6 coarse thread screws that thread right into the beam below the radiator. The ends of the center section bolt to the L and R plastic underpinning by 4 10mm bolts with the same clip nut shown above in the pic. The L and R sections of the air dam if you have them, are held on by the 7mm black screws with a smaller U clip, i think 6 in total. Heres a pic of what I got, not a good pic though.
