the box pretty much fell apart as i took it out, and theres one bolt thats still in there. i really dont want to take the dash out to get to it. its the bolt that is all the way to the right, right by the trans dipstick. i tried holding it with vice grips while using a wrench to spin the bolt but no luck.

It's hard to tell in the picture but if rust is the reason it wont turn you can try hitting it with some PB blaster, that stuff worked like magic for my locked up bolt problem

That bolt is a stud with two nuts on it. One holds the box, the other holds a ground wire or clip I believe.

In any case, you should be able to put vise grips on the end, and turn the nut off...its not heavy duty hardware. There is a bit that works on the end. Its basically an inside-out torx bit. But if you've chewed the end all to heck with pliers, thats not going to help you.

Ide just soak it down with PB BLASTER, not WD40 or anything like that, and then lock the vise grips on the end and turn it out. Like I said, its not heavy hardware...should come off.
