89 camaro air dam - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

i'm considering building a new air dam for my 89 camaro because the old plastic one is so worn down i don't think its doing its job very well. anytime i get over 60mph the car starts heating up. brand new radiator, new waterpump, and thermostat. i'm producing a little under 300hp. has anyone done this before, or had any experience?

post a pic. curious to see if yours is the same as mine. i think i have pics of air intake. is yours daul a.i. and a tpi. i modified mine.
