Fan Troubles

Hey guys having some trouble with my fans. Got the car with no engine installed and just put one in and the fans will not kick on. They will not turn on when the blower or AC is turned on. I ran it almost up until it got into red on the gauge. The only way they will kick on is if the car is in diagnostic mode when I check for engine codes. I have replaced the passenger coolent sensor in the head. The other two sensors looked ok. The car is a 89 L98.

Thanks
Mike

Re: Fan Troubles

That was the first thing I did was check the fuses and all checked ok. Could it be a relay? If so which relay is it, the one behind the passenger side headlight?
