Custom radiator hoses

Those of you that have installed an oversize radiator and your stock hoses turned out to be the wrong size, what did you use? I have put in a Ron Davis radiator in my 1990 RS with tbi and now I cant use the hoses I bought so I need new ones. Just trying to figure out what to use.

Thanks

Re: Custom radiator hoses

Need more info. What size are the inlet and outlet? And are they in stock location? What are the dimensions of the radiator?

Usually stock radiator hoses will work, especially for the upper hose. If you got a 31" wide radiator, it might be difficult to get a lower hose to clear the idler arm, if the stock one doesn't work.

Re: Custom radiator hoses

I will have to check when I get home but I think the outlets are 1.75 and that its a 31 inch radiator because it barely fit on either side. I was looking at the flexible stainless hoses, thinking they may be my best option but considering how much I have spent on this project, I hated to spend that much on hoses.
