need heat cam u help?

hey i need heat im my 84 camaro i have a heater core and its all hooked up but the priveous owner took all the ac stuff off of it so i got a heater fan how does it work can i run the fan to a toggle switch so it blows heat off of the heater core or is there more to it than that ?

Beat The Heat

Yes can use a simple switch and you should go thru a relay.

I hope the PO didn’t take the blend doors or ducts.

Sounds like the PO took the HVAC panel.

So you have control over defrost and how much heat is being mixed with the air you’ll want to replace it.

You need to make sure the core flow valve is enabled.

How bout those nervous nellies too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime or if there is a little rain!

hope not to i can move the switch to change what vent not for sure if it switches but i cant switch the hot or cold switch it just stays on cold but if i hook that fan up to a switch will it just push hot air off the heater core into car?

the switch the sliding piece in the car i cant slide it over to heat if i force it it willl prob break but when i get it running right i guess ill hook it up today and try and get it warmed up and just kick it on
