Accell DFI w/95 or 98?

I have calmap version 6.32 but I can't get it to connect to the ECU. My laptop has ME at the moment and I get an "echo" error.

Does the calmap have to be waiting for the ECU? I tried turning the ignition on before and the software is initialized but I can't seem to get it to connect.

Can anyone help me connect this stupid thing?!

Calmap 6.32 is DOS only and will not run correctly under Win9x, ME, 2000 or XP. Do not run the Calmap software under a Windows enviroment. Although I have ran Calmap on Win9x and 2000, files had a tendency of becoming corrupt when used in a Windows enviroment. Create a DOS bootdisk to boot your laptop into and then run Calmap from a floppy disk. Hope this helps.
