ECM help

If I go with a after market DFI will I still need my old ECM?

Not all aftermarket ecms support the Torque converter clutch, and most of the TCC controllers are so bad, using the orginal ecm for the TCC is a common answer.

THOU, there is a TCC specific controller in the works that promises to be a valuable option, ie it uses oem like programming for TCC management.
