Memcal?

Some people have been saying I need a memcal and calpak from a 5 speed car now that i did an auto -> manual swap. Does anyone know what they are?

they are the chip/chips in the ECM that contain the calibration data for a specific engine/trans/emissions combination, they are under a cover on the ECM that is held on with two screws

I placed a sticky up top with a picture of what these items look like. For your ECM you will need a different PROM. The CALPAK will stay the same.
