Accel Gen 7 DFI question...

alright i dont know much about tuning so try to take it easy on me. i was wondering if the Accel Gen 7 DFI system is capable of saving/holding 2 seperate tunes? by that i mean have a specific tune saved lets say for the street on 93 octane gas and a race tune for 100 octane? i want to be able (if this is possible) to use my lap top and simply switch the already saved tune wether im at the track or just doing normal street driving.

can this be done?

you can save hundreds of different tunes. My laptop has over 100 in it.
All you have to do is go to file, then load global calibration file (F-7)

You can do something similar to that without even having to touch the laptop.

I've used the Nitrous system (without actually spraying) as an economy/premium switch to toggle between 87 and 93 octane tunes. When you activate the Nitrous system, it has 3 different ignition timing trim maps, 3 fuel trim tables, it's own target air-to-fuel table, and a couple of enable inputs.

By going from no Nitrous to Stage 1 to Stage 2 to Stage 3, you can jump between several different tunes at the flip of a switch -- without a laptop.
