Idle problems with an Accel Gen 7+ DFI system

I just basically finished tuning the main part of the dfi system, but the car idles like crap. It surges from low RPM to high RPM. It eventually surges so low that it dies. I tried messing with the idle screw and the idle adjustments using the dfi, but I just can't seem to get it right. The car has a mild cam (.488/.495, 212/218) and 1.6 rockers. If anyone has an idea, please let me know. Thanks

Send a message via ICQ to maniacc
If you want, you can send me your .ecm file and i will compare it to mine. I'm still learning the programming, but maybe we can figure out the problem.

I used to have the same problem with my commander 950. the way I fixed it was to set the idle rich (~.8V for narrow O2) (14.0:1 AFR for WB O2) I have an even milder cam (204 216 @.050) but the lowest smooth idle speed for me was 700rpm. to get the speed right you'll have to mess with the IAC motor and the idle screw. The only way I could get a stable idle was to set the minimum idle around 650rpm with the idle screw. I emailed Holley about it, but they weren't much help.
