code 15, new ecm dead?

so my boss and I were checking voltages and such, trying to figure out my code 15, and found im getting 6 volts out of the yellow wire to the CTS at the plug and the computer, which is new from NAPA, any ideas on what could cause this?

If the 6 volts was measured between the yellow and black CTS wires (the connector) then the ECM is bad.

If it was from the yellow CTS wire and the engine block or chassis then check the grounds first. These are on the rear of the heads (passenger side only, maybe?).

so, i ran back to napa today and grabbed my old ecm i returned as a core. Plugged her in to see if i was getting 6 volts from that one too, which i was, but also, my ses works(it didnt with the new ecm, thought it was the bulb), but alas, still code 15. I was getting ground when i probed the black wire itself, but when i probed the black wire at the NEW CTS plug, no ground. So i pulled the black wire and the metal crimped on plug out of its plastic housing....who ever made the plug never stripped the black wire before crimping on the damn metal connector , put on a different plug, runs like a champ now!, Thanks
