MAF TPI to SFI?

i have a 89 (MAF) TPI in my 91 Caprice

since i have problems with my MAF sensor now, i want to convert it to SD now.

I was wondering if there's any affordable solution to control the TPI in sequential mode, because here in germany the car would cost me much lower taxes if i could meet a higher emission class, but this is not possible with a batchfire...

i know that Accel-DFI has a system which uses a sepcial distributor with integrated cam-position-sensor, i didn't checked what parts i would need yet, but i guess it wouldn't be a cheap matter...

the other thing i thought about: a buddys 92 Cadillac STS has a SFI which seems to be very familiar with the TPI, but it's sequential. I guess it has a distributor with cam sens too. Maybe it's easier to get a PCM/distr from such a Caddy instead of the new Accel components - but without a programming possibility for the PCM i see no chance to get it running without the rest of the Cadillac (VATS and completely different VE's). Tunercat offers no definition file for that PCM.

Guys, any other ideas or suggestions?

I believe that the folks over at Mega Squirt are working on a sequential fire system, not sure when it's coming out though. Anyone have any better suggestions.

You could swap in a later model engine, LT1s and LS1s are both sequential port injected. MOre power, economy and better emissions in stock form.
