I haven't ever done one in a 3rd gen, but my shop intalled a buttload of them into other cars. I LOVED it in my Supras. Easy to tune, and very tweakable.

Most of the ones we used were plug and play. I only did one universal install on a motor-swapped 240SX. There is a lot of wiring and work for the universal, but if you know how to do that kind of work, you'll be ok. There are files all over the net with unique and different tunes for odd configurations, so finding a base MAP shouldn't be hard either.
