49 ecm in a 1227727

Hi all
New to this, I 'm running a 58a in a 1227727 it seems I can't find the correct output pins to run the injectors. Using d3 and d9. I also tried d14 and the engine ran on two cyls ( engine is a inline 4) The engine goes lean at about 90 kpa ( injector pulse width does not change) If 2 cyls are disconected the engine will miss and go 190 kpa . at one time the a1 program was run and the injector pulse width changed . Any ideas?

At the bottom of this page you'll find links to the ecm pins and wiring diagrams.

However, I don't know about running 58 on a 727. Ludi's page may help. Maybe the "missing quad driver" (see the Description for 749) is the problem.

I remembered something else (well sort of).

There is a thread in here somewhere that talks about running 58 on a 730. I've racked my brain trying to remember who wrote it... perhaps "funstick" but I'm not sure.

You could try some searches. As I recall the thread talked about what programming changes needed to be done to make it run. IIRC it seemed to be worked out pretty thoroughly.
