linking up to 1992 fullsize pickup 5.7 tbi

I have a 1992 tbi pickup which I would like to link up to as fast/cheap as possible and an old AKM cable for my MAF TPI car. I'm trying to find out why it probably isn't going into closed loop.

I haven't tried it yet but should it work? Should I add/remove a 10k resistor or should I make a new cable?
