90-92 350 L98 TPI SD with a T5, prom question??
Since a T5 was not available from GM with a 350 L98 from 90-92, do you need a prom adaptor to make this combo run correctly?

on mine i used a chip for a vette it was as close as i could get back then (10years ago)without getting an aftermarket chip
you can run with the stock chip without any ILL affects, timing at 12°,crank the fuel pressure up to 44psi and see how she runs..

A 305 TPI 5-speed chip will work ok, but a custom-burned prom will be the best option.
A Corvette prom has the oil tempurature sending unit enabled, which is not on our cars, and will give you a SES light after a few minutes of driving.

I've done some research and its not recommended to use a 90-91 vette prom due to the OTSU like you mentioned and heads etc.
I have the 305 TPI 5-speed chip but, if I'm going to do all this work I want it to run the best it can.
At this time I don't want to get into burning my own chip.
Any recommendations on someone to burn a chip for me? TPIS is good but, way over priced in my opinion.
Do you have to use a adaptor or can they just burn the stock chip?
