I have Tunercat II, but it's been sold to Jet. They are selling it now, and it's locked to a couple vin's now.
Most people I talk to are now using EFILive (
www.efilive.com). It has a lot of features and is supposed to be a lot more user friendly. It has a lot of tuning capabilities.
Hold on to your wallet though.
Any OBDII stuff is expensive.
If you change to the LT1 f or y body cam, you could just get someone to re-flash your pcm to the same body style bin file, and you shouldn't have to do a lot of tuning.
That is the basic difference in the f and y body car and the Impala-Buick car engine. The big cars had cast iron heads instead of the aluminum, but most folks say that they flow a little better than the same year aluminum head.
I could re-flash your pcm if you don't mind waiting a month or so, it's tax season, and I have to make some streetrod money right now.
