I am confused on which ID & ECM P/N to use for my truck. The reason I am now confused is Im having problems running tunerpro. The cable is recognized and it will connect to the ecm but all i get is packet errors. So I thought I look some more in the stickies and upon researching my memcal application and eprom type I have come across three different numbers. 16196395, 7427 and 16156930 $0D & $31 I have a '95 GMC C2500 5.7 TBI "K" 4L60E I am having a rough start but Im determined! Can someone verify for me please which one I should be using.

Pull the PCM down and look for the 'Service #' on a paper label. That will be the PCM number. Also look for a 4 letter code (all in upper case), that will be the calibration BCC. The 4 letter code may be mixed in, or together with a string of characters.

Its 7427 BJYM. So I am ok then with the $0D. Thats the one I loaded in tunerpro and all Im getting is errors when I try to use it.

The '7427 PCM can run the $0D mask. I don't know what mask the bcc BJYM is. What type of errors are you getting?
