| Marine power MEFI-2 system issue
My old man purchased a marine power MPI system at a swap meet for $500. it is a delphi MEFI-2 system. everythings but the inectors work. there is spark and fuel pressure but the inectors won't work. The module may be bad and are not produced anymore. Arizona speed and marine wants $900 for a programed mefi-2 module which just seems to expensive to me. I am thinking of sending the module to arizona speed and marine to diagnose to see if it is bad.
engines is a 350 with vortec heads and the lt4 hot cam.
If the module is bad what is the best solution to getting this setup running. gm offers a mefi-4 conversion for the older ramjet engines that is ~$570 with new harness and module I was thinking of trying. or should I try to use an oem computer to control the system. keep in mind he would like to do this fairly econimically.
