At 110 I Hit The Wall! Help, Question About The Governor.

HI THERE EVERYONE, FIRST OF ALL MY QUESTION IS. ON MY CAR WHEN I DROP IT TO 1ST THN 2ND THEN 3RD BUT AT 3RD GEAR NOT EVEN RED LINEING YET AT 110MPH, I HIT A BRICK WALL. WELL MY CAR STARTS TO PULL BACK OR SO IS THAT THE CAUSE OF THE GOVERNOR OR SOMETHING? THEN ILL SHIFT INTO 4TH AND STILL I CANT GO FASTER THAN 110MPH WHATS MY PROBLEM HERE? RPM'S DONT DROP OR SO.

Speed limiter is your problem. It's set to 112mph in the chip. Want to learn how you can remove it? Go to DIY PROM Board and learn learn learn!

I read a while back that if you put a switch on the VSS signal you can keep going past the 110 mark. It is a lt brown wire at the ECM if my memory serves me correct. This was about 4 years ago and I dont have any of my notes with me here in Iraq. Maybe someone knows where this info is at?
