| 1227747 to 16197427 Conversion
| Hi guys. First of all I appologize if this was covered in the forum I originally read about it in. I had read the article by Ben73 (I think) several months ago and was getting his help. All of a sudden I had no reply and I still had a few questions left. With the knock sensor, what year should I get one from so that I won't have to install a resistor? Will one from a 98 work? If I have to install a 3.9K ohm resistor, I will but want to avoid that if at all possible. My other question was about using it with the park neutral switch. I currently have a 700r4 but will probably swap to a 4l60e here shortly if I can get this conversion done and working. Where would I run the wire that goes to the park/neutral indicator on the 7747 ecm on the 7427 ecm? I printed off the pin crossover found in that thread but I did not see it included. | | | |
