Can I connect an SGI5 box directly to my speedometer?

Quote:
In the process of swapping to a t56 and will obviously be using the Dakota Digital box during the swap to work my stock speedometer. However, shortly after swapping the t56 in, I plan on running a megasquirt setup instead of the stock ecm. The MS does not have an input or output for a VSS so I am wondering if I can connect the SGI5 box straight to the speedometer instead? I don't see why this wouldn't work as long as I programmed the box correctly right?

What am I missing here?
I posted that in the electronics and the transmission board and was told to try here, so mods that's why there are 3 different posts about this.

Please someone tell me if this will work or not...
