Yeah so I got that issue figured out timing was wrong,oops.So now it runs but only on the even cyls. and and I know the injectors have ground and power but guess ill triple check.Any ideas, if new chip was in backward it wouldnt run at all right?

It will still run with the chip in backwards. In limp mode, but it'll run.

TPI set ups have two injector fuses. Check to see if one has blown (INJ1 and INJ2).

Do you not have noid lights to test? You know you can just use a regular 12v automotive light bulb if you dont have a set.

noid light does not light up the signal is not strong enough I wonder if my batt is to dead?And I was pretty sure to check fuses I dont think anything was blown.I pin tested the ECM, NO signal form there.....?!?!on odd cyls. I mean.

If this is an '89 TPI MAF setup, there is only one injector driver. So if one bank shows a weak ground then it is either the wire or the pin to the ECM harness connector. Or the trace inside the ECM fried.
