85 vette with a 1226870 ECM with a security issue

I am working on a 85 Corvette with a 350 tpi using ECM 1226870. I found the smaller prom within the ECU. Main question is, I am familiar with the 7730 and 7749 ECM with the AUJP and I know I can disable the VATS security function. I am going to load the Bin through Tunerpro and see if disable the security function on the vette. Does Moates or anyone else know if there a adapter / chip that I would use and is this a doable thing to do or is the security system not controlled through the ECM at all. ???? I have done this on my IROC through the ecm on a 3rd gen but the vette are a little different
