Maf Sensor Values

What are the average flow values (in grams per second) I should be looking for on my scanner for a 89 Camaro 305 TPI auto F code when at idle and higher RPM.
I have a Auto X Ray 240 scanner and the Maf reads 2240 G/S at idle and 6300 when driving at 53mph @ 1375 rpm. no error codes present.

Thanks
Gary

Re: Maf Sensor Values

I don't know the exact value, but it is MUCH lower then that(2240). I was told that it should be 20-30g/s!

Re: Maf Sensor Values

Thanks mate,
My manual tells me similar, this is a strange one especially with no error codes present.
The car runs good except at about 1350 RPM in overdrive the car will jerk slightly as if the timing is retarded,
the car will acelerate away fine from there.

Gary.
