91-92 ECU differences?
I recently installed a hypertech chip in my 91 GTA, but the chip was for a 1992. It ran poorly and threw a code for cylinder select error. Is there is difference in the ECU's or is this chip crap??

All '90-'92 port injected 3rd gens used the same ECM ('7730). It may be that the chip is for the 6-cylinder port injected Camaro/Firebird.

At the same time, did you use the adapter along with the stock MEMCAL when you installed the HyperActive chip?

What I got is an adapter with a hypertech chip on it labeled with part number 122322 which lists as being for a 1992 350 auto firebird/camaro.
My ECU has been replaced in 1994 I believe the sticker said. Which number do I need off of it to identify it?
