Help!
Ok long story short I trail and error the car to start and run.
Was the fuel pump. Changed it for a new one... Now it starts and runs "ok" but when I accelerate too fast it dies at 3000 rpm. So I pull off to the side and restart just fine. Where should I start to resolve the dying problem??

Re: Help!
OK, what is IT? You need to provide alot more info. Assuming TBI or TPI but what engine, auto or standard. Give as much info about the car and the problem will help others to greater understanding of your problem and maybe provide a solution.

Re: Help!
1991 camaro 5.0 tbi v8 (automatic). It will a run and start. But if I accelerate too fast the engine shuts down at 3000 rpm, and starts back up while in motion as soon as I take my foot off the gas. Any input helps.... I found a vac line next to the tbi that I need to purchase and install. Also there is two parallel vac lines that hook up to an electronic sensor that was melted(also next to the tbi). I don't know where the other end goes, it shoots off behind the block somewhere(Can't find the other melted end)...

OK. A little more info. Was this car running previously, normal, before you changed the fuel pump? Bad vacuum lines and sensor? How did they get "melted"? Did you do any ECM tuning or changes? The 3000 RPM limit could be the fuel system, plugged filter, bad regulator or even a weak pump. First, check your fuel system for leaks or blockage and get those vacuum lines fixed. Report back and maybe someone with more knowledge of TBI systems can chime in with some ideas.
