ECM problems?? please help

the other day i was checking my 5.7 tpi on a scanner. i got a code 23 MAT @ -40degF .replaced it the next day ,still getting the code. does this mean that the ECM is bad. thanks in advance

-40* indicates an "open circuit" (unlimited resistance). Look for a broken/disconnected wire from the MAT to the ECM.

i may have to check the wire @the ECM. you wouldnt know which one that might be. thanks again for repling
