Car: 1986 Iroc Camaro Engine: 305 TPI Transmission: Th700R4 Jr. Raptor | Have cable, and software, now what? Alright, i ordered a max 232 cable to interface with my ALDL.
One, the cable was made to connect to pins "A" and "M" (it also included a resistor between "A" and "B")
Well, my ALDL doesn't have a pin "M", it's blank!
From what I have read, It's either "E" or "M". Well, i do have a pin, "E", but isn't that a 160 baud connection?
I havn't yet modified the cable to plug into it, though i have bypassed it with a wire, but still didn't get anything from the craig moats software i was using. Does anyone have any ideas or clues as to what i could do to get myself running?
Do you think i have a 160 baud connection? Any other freeware to suggest? Thanks guys.
