Is your post Missing, Locked, or are you Banned? Read this ---->
If you posted something and it is now missing then it was deleted or moved to another forum. If you don't agree that your post was deleted or moved then ... simply put ... oh well. If the post was locked ... oh well. It was locked for a reason. There's no use crying about it. Anything that suggests or is related to the following is subject to deletion, moving, or locking:
1) PROM buying/selling
2) The proverbial "I need a chip!"
3) Hacking other so-called tuner's bins
4) If the post is not DIY (DO IT YOURSELF) PROM related
If a post exclaims "Do you guys think I need a new chip?" then the post will be deleted or moved to the DFI & ECM page. Anything not directly related to DIY-PROM will be moved to the appropriate forum. The DIY-PROM forum has become a catch all for people looking for answers instead of a DIY-PROM forum. Just because the members of this forum have the expertise doesn't mean irrelevant posts are allowed.
If people don't agree with this then take it up with Dirk ... thirdgen.org's owner.
That does not mean that posts will be haphazardly discarded. Common sense will be used

Also, if you are looking to "get together" with people from a "region" to learn how to burn eproms - go to the Regional Boards. That is where "get togethers" are suppose to be.
Unfortunately, too many people have abused this "let's get together" type post to really mean "let's get together and will you burn me an eprom?".
These types of posts will be moved directly to appropriate Regional Board.

Seems some members can't see "no eprom referrals, begging or comparison of aftermarket eproms". So I am putting this post back to the top of the stickies so everyone read.
