Well I searched for one but came up empty. There is something you can use.

This was from the patch method demo in the sticky posts area. It is in my opinion better than just an ecu file. A lot more difficult to use if you just want to tune stuff but it has so much more information. All you need is a hex editor and some patience. You could use it to make an ecu file. Or just buy tunercat like you said.
